The Cancun Museum is submerged in the depths of the Caribbean

This museum is located in Cancun, Mexico, and contains a collection of 500 sculptures, a series of works by sculptor Jason Decarez Taylor and five other Mexican sculptors from the National Canakon National Park, as well as 3 different galleries, immersed between 3 and 6 meters underwater.
Taylor built statues of special cement that encourages the growth of coral reefs within and on the surface to attract fish and marine plants, and the statues then become living species.

The museum was founded by Jaime Gonzalez of the National Marine Park, Roberto Diaz of the Cancun Marine Society and sculptor Jason Taylor in an attempt to attract tourists and connect them to the coasts of Mexico after the devastation caused by Wilma.
The museum contains more than 450 statues of full-size persons by artist Jason Taylor.
