Giraffe escape from circus provokes the police
A giraffe who ran away from the Ronald Orevo circus in the center of the Italian city of Imola has roused the audience and stopped traffic in the city for the hourly rush hour.
Police tried for three hours continuously to control the panic-stricken giraffe, who was running aimlessly through the streets of the city, refusing to stop and causing some damage in some local cars parked on the side of the roads.
The chase sparked laughter as it tried to escape from its police and inquisitive pursuits and the situation began as if it were an animated film before the police were able, at the last hour of the chase, to cram it into a parking lot among some of the large trucks parked there in a shopping mall in the city.
The police rushed to launch a drug injection that enabled them to take control of the fugitive giraffe and catch it before it expected injuries between pedestrians and shoppers
